Kendro Building, 31 Pecks Lane
This building currently serves as quarters for the Building Department, Conservation Officer, Land Use Agency, Fire Marshal, Health District and Board of Education. The Town leases space in this industrial/commercial building for town offices because there is not enough room at Edmond Town Hall for all town departments. The building is for sale and hopefully will be sold and go back on to the tax rolls. At one time, this was one of the fiive highest taxpayers.
This building houses offices of the First Selectman, Town Clerk, Tax Collector, Assessor, Judge of Probate, Finance Director, Community Development Director, Registrars of Voters and Edmond Town Hall Managers. Town offices are open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

The administration of the Town Hall is as unique as the building itself. While the title is vested in the Town, a bi-partisan elected Board of Managers run the building. A full time manager supervises the maintenance of the building, which includes a movie theater. The normal schedule for movies is Friday through Thursday with movies shown daily at 7 and 9 PM. Matinees are held at 1 PM on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. Tickets are $2. To find out what movies are currently playing, call 426-2475 or check in the reference section of The Newtown Bee website (www.thebee.com).

The building also offers a variety of rooms for all occasions, including the Alexandria Room for weddings, parties and recitals; and a gymnasium for sports, parties and craft shows. Smaller meeting rooms are also available. For arrangements, call the Managers office at 270-4285.
