TIP A COP event - MAY 3, 2008

The Newtown Police Department and Dunkin' Donuts of Newtown teamed up to support Special Olympics Connecticut's Tip-A-Cop program in May of 2008. Customers came to the local donut shop and found Newtown's Finest behind counters serving them coffee and donuts instead of tickets. Collecting tips for Special Olympics Connecticut (SOCT) was their mission
The Tip-A-Cop event is in preparation for the SOCT Summer Games and its Torch Runs.
