Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run
The Newtown Department of Police Services participates in the Connecticut Special Olympics Torch Runs. The Newtown leg of the route begins at the Bethel town line at Route 302, traveling down Sugar St., north onto Main St., down Church Hill Rd., and ending at the I-84 exit 10 on ramp. From there participants travel by vehicle to Connecticut State Police Troop A in Southbury where the Torch Run resumes.
